Bye-bye, plastic bags! Hello, earth-friendly cotton carry all’s! Celebrate local yarn shops and our planet with us this Spring by crocheting this new and exciting reusable market bag out of the scrumptious hand-dyed Monokrom Cotton yarn by Urth Yarns’. This bag is a breeze to crochet and the colors will subtly shift to different shades of the same color as you crochet, adding interest to the otherwise simple mesh stitch.

Crochet outside and soak up the sun's rays while making this soft, long-lasting, plant-based market bag, and show the world that you’re making a different one scrumptious yard at a time! LYS Day is on April 17, 2021, Earth Day is on April 22, 2021.

With a sturdy base and surprisingly roomy expandable mesh body, the Dunya Market Bag is the sustainable alternative to single-use paper or plastic bags. This new design by Nina Holubcova is lightweight, yet durable enough for your next market or yarn shopping trip, and so much more! You’ll love the soft and smooth texture of this beautiful hand-dyed DK weight yarn.

The best part? Each purchase of this kit will plant 2 trees in Africa through Trees For the Future, so crochet with pride knowing your hobby is helping to make our planet a little greener with every skein of Urth Yarns you use. You can learn more about this organization here and see how many trees they've planted in partnership with Urth Yarns so far.

Like all of Urth Yarn's hand-dyed masterpieces, every skein is unique! Also, every digital screen is calibrated differently. Slight variations in tone and saturation will vary from screen to screen. The actual color of your item may vary slightly from what you see on your screen, but the delicious texture and subtle tone shifts of Monokrom Cotton will remain just as lovely with each batch!
