Bye-bye, plastic bags! Hello, earth-friendly cotton carry all’s! Celebrate local yarn shops and our planet with us this Spring by knitting this new and exciting reusable market bag out of the scrumptious hand-dyed Uneek Cotton yarn by Urth Yarns’. This bag is a breeze to make, the waves of color will unfold before your eyes!

Knit outside and soak up the sun's rays while making this soft, long-lasting, market bag, and show the world that you’re making a difference one delicious yard at a time! LYS Day is on April 17, 2021, Earth Day is on April 22, 2021, and Knit in Public day is on June 12, 2021.

This reusable and versatile bag with a purpose will connect you to the earth wherever your travels take you. Designed by Catherine Bayar, the Pazar Market Bag is perfect for carrying your WIPs, groceries, and so much more! You’ll love the soft and smooth texture of this beautiful hand-dyed DK weight yarn.

The best part? Each purchase of this kit will plant 2 trees in Africa through Trees For the Future, so craft with pride knowing your hobby is helping to make our planet a little greener with every skein of Urth Yarns you use. You can learn more about this organization here and see how many trees they've planted in partnership with Urth Yarns so far.

Like all of Urth Yarn's hand-dyed masterpieces, every skein is unique! Also, every digital screen is calibrated differently. Slight variations in tone and saturation will vary from screen to screen. The actual color of your item may vary slightly from what you see on your screen, but the delicious texture and vibrancy of Uneek Cotton will remain constant between batches!

When you choose Urth Yarns you are supporting a workforce of strong women who hand-dye their yarns in Mersin and Istanbul. Join us in helping Trees for the Future in their mission to provide families with tools and knowledge to plant trees in Africa.

"Planting trees provides families with more than just food. It provides income, empowerment, unity, leadership, education and even saves lives. When we can teach people to value themselves and their environment, they see amazing improvements in their standard of living."
