This ended up being a great choice for me as a beginning spinner. The fiber is "grippier" than merino and Corriedale's longer staple length gave me more time to figure out drafting. Highly recommend. In the photos I shared with this review you can see my finished skein (quite bulky, chain plied, but my first attempt!) and the improvement I made in spinning a thinner single.
I’m going back for more soon. A very soft wool. I spun it quite fine for a lacy something, not sure what yet.
Learning to spin- staple length great for me while I get faster at drafting- makes a nice yarn.
I love it as a base for my yarns.
The sheen on this Corriedale is unexpected and really beautiful. And it's so much fun to spin.
