Join the Paradise Fiber Club as we go Sleuthing in the Starlight on our premiere Murder Mystery Knit Along this October 2019. The lovely lacey Starlight Shawl, designed by our very own Kristen Olson, uses approx. 800 yards Fingering weight yarn in 2 contrasting colors, 400 yards each. The mystery pattern will be released in 3 parts, starting on Oct 18th, accompanied by an installment of the Murder Mystery: Sleuthing in the Starlight. See an excerpt below of the first act released in our October Fiber of the Month Club.

This exceptionally lovely lace shawl has 3 parts that cohesively blend into a beautiful cascade of drapey, extra-fine merino wool. Two contrasting colors, or even a tantalizing trio bring the sections of this mysteriously delightful shawl to life. Wrap the lengths of yarn around you to block out the blustery weather as you sleuth your way around the eery and chilly brick rooms of Paradise Fibers.

Mysteriously beautiful kits in hand-dyed, extrafine merino wool MadelineTosh Merino Light yarn are available here. You will receive the pattern and story with the kit as well.

Join the Paradise sleuthing team on Ravelry to discover what happened to the lovely and lavish Secretary Starlight. There will be exclusive backstories, insight into the mysterious events surrounding the Worldwide Wool Federation, and much excitement. Don't miss out on this adventure!

SLEUTHING IN THE STARLIGHT

By: Elaina Sicilia

"It is a blustery Autumn afternoon in Paradise as the Worldwide Wool Federation gathers to discuss matters of the utmost importance. As each sheep trots in, the table fills with extravagant colors in every shade; each member has embellished themselves with their finest silks, gems, and felted finery. Although the outward appearance is one of civility and warmness, there seems to be a sense of trepidation amongst the members as knowing looks are shared across the table and the wind buffets the brick walls of the building.

While the seats begin to fill the final two members arrive outside. The trees rustle with anticipation as the wind whistles through their leaves, sending the lovely Secretary Starlight’s impeccably fashioned hat soaring through the air..."
