I will preface this by saying I am a spinner & a rug and Tapestry weaver, and I tried 7 fibers offered by Paradise, this is 1. This was one of my favorite fibers to spin. It has a nice staple length and it drafts easily without being to slick. It has just enough drag to be easy to control. I could get a very consistent gauge single very easily. It is soft without being too soft for my weavings. It is very light color, and although I have not tried dyeing with it, I’m sure it will take dyes beautifully. It is a great all around fiber, and would be a great choice for learning to spin. I would have given 5 stars, but this fiber is so very close to Cheviot (one of my favorites), and is a little more expensive, so I would likely always choose Cheviot.
Thanks for the awesome review. Glad you enjoyed the fiber for spinning.
