My grandkids and I had so much fun with this box! I’m overjoyed that I decided to subscribe! It was so fun to try new fibers I hadn’t discovered before. The grandkids just loved unboxing and finding all the extra little gifts. I couldn’t believe the amount of fiber in there! It was such a pleasure to spin and knit with. I’m recommending it to all my spinning friends!
Every month is a great surprise! There is always a variety of fibers, as well as little extras. I recently started working with fibers to create a 'paper'. Following Karen Selk's DVD instructions, I recently made book covers. I have used oil paint sticks as well as paints for the decorations.
I love getting the fiber box of the month. The fibers are always so beautiful and varied. There is always a little non-fiber surprise in each box - a sticker; a tea bag - just a little something extra. I work in a process that creates a silk 'paper'. I recently created book covers from Karen Selk's DVD. There is still so much more to explore using this technique - and Paradise Fibers box of the month.
This box is a great way to try out different fibers. And the monthly themes are so thoughtfully put together and accessorized. I look forward to mine every month. Pictures are from the Tweed February 2020 box. I added some solids to some of them, plied with a complimentary color.
About to start my second year. I’ve really enjoyed the fiber club boxes. As expected I like some more than others but thy are always fun. I’ve included a picture of the results from my first year. There a a couple of things Zive set aside for blending but I have some interesting yarn and the club allowed me to experiment an try some fibers and techniques I might not have tried .Now I’m just waiting for the yarn to tell me what it wants to be.
