Im new too spinning. But this Herdwick seems to spin up rather nicely.
I ordered mid-day on Tuesday and the fiber arrived on Thursday! I would say that is great service! The fiber is very nice also. I expected it to be more scratchy/coarse due to the description. Great purchase!
This dark grey is beautiful! It has grey to light black fibers, sprinkled with white. I would love to see the fiber on it's sheep!
I've been spinning for under a year and have read/heard about the wool of different breeds. Paradise Fibers carries the wool of many different breeds so it is the perfect place to order to try the different fibers. I loved all the ones I've tried so far and it's great to be able to purchase 4 oz. of each. I plan to order more of my favorites.
This adds a lot of texture and color. It was a great add-in for a tweed that I quickcoiled then Navajo plyed.
