These were so easy to use!! Loved how the colors turned out. I was nervous about dying 100% wool, but it turned out perfect. The color card is a little pricey, but well worth it (after all, someone had to spend a lot of time making them).
Brilliant colors and so easy to work with, Country Classics produce expert results even in the hands of a beginner. And be sure to watch the YouTube video for instructions on how to make multicolored rovings by using Country Classics in condiment bottles. Just be sure to label your bottles because the raw dyes don't necessarily look like the finished colors! This is so much fun. Get lots of colors when you order--you'll wish you'd gotten more.
I thought these were easy to use and the colors were very vibrant. I wished the color card wasn't so expensive or I could get a better view of the actual colors. The 'virtual' color images aren't very precise, but maybe that's just my screen and eye. I also am used to natural dyeing so raising the heat on these chemical dyes to boiling for 30 minutes was unnerving. I think my wool felted a bit from the friction of the bubbles. Be careful what fiber you use these on.
Country Classics all-in-one, no fuss dye, can easily transform Wool, Silk, Nylon, and many other protein-based fibers into the color of your dreams in minutes! Everything you need is in one 3 oz jar. No mordant or special treatment needed! Each jar dyes about 2 pounds of fiber in ONLY 30 MINUTES, and with 91 colors available, you can achieve the exact color you're looking for. Use more or less dye to create lighter or darker colors. Thanks to Country Classics, dyeing has never been easier!
