A staple for my fiber stash!

I like to keep some un-dyed/natural BFL in my stash. It is my go-to when I am using my blending board. I love making barber pole yarns for winter hats, and having a good supply of natural on hand is a must!

Lovely to spin.

Sheepy smell, but it spins like a dream with a very nice next to skin feel.

Beautiful BFL

I have not had a chance to spin this BFL yet but, I am anxious to get started. This roving is soft and beautiful. I bought 3#s of humbug and am excited to see how it spins up.

Beautiful fiber

Loved this fiber. It spun up like a dream. I have no idea what I’m going to do with it now but it is beautiful.

Great first spinning fiber!

This was the first fiber I ever spun on my e-spinner. It was perfect to start with. It was well combed and easy to draft without being too slippery for a beginner to control. I love the warm, earthy, natural color.

A spinners DREAM! Great for beginner and advanced spinners alike.

This English Longwool breed was developed from the Border Leicester in the early 18th century.

With a staple length of 3-6 inches this fiber practically spins itself. Featuring a hearty micron count of 26 but don't let that number fool you, this fiber is buttery soft. Long curly lustrous fibers lend a finished product with drape and shine. This is a strong wool with curl and crimp. Soaks up dye brilliantly.
