I recommend this product
Sheep floof suitable for a newbie

I ordered 2# of BFL to practice with on my new wheel, as it was labeled as being "good for beginners." The top is lovely to work with, very soft with long staple. I've actually created some mostly usable yarn with it! (All issues have been operator error and not due to a flaw in the product. It's great, and I'm learning!)

A spinners DREAM! Great for beginner and advanced spinners alike.

This English Longwool breed was developed from the Border Leicester in the early 18th century.

With a staple length of 3-6 inches this fiber practically spins itself. Featuring a hearty micron count of 26 but don't let that number fool you, this fiber is buttery soft. Long curly lustrous fibers lend a finished product with drape and shine. This is a strong wool with curl and crimp. Soaks up dye brilliantly.

Microns: 26mic
Fiber Length: 85-90mm
Top/Roving Length: 4 meters per 100g
Top/Roving Width: 1 inch
