Paradise Fibers Bleached Tussah Silk Noil GRADE A

I am new to spinning and had no idea what noil was I was surprised with what I got. After I received this I then researched it and I can't wait to find a pattern and experiment with this new found fiber. (Note from Paradise: This fiber is a great way to experiment with silk at a great price. The noil really lends itself for blending with other fibers like wool using a drum carder or handcards.)

I like to spin this with alpaca or wool and weave it on my loom. When the finished project is felted, the alpaca or wool shrinks and felts, but the silk does not, resulting in a wonderfully knobbly piece of fabric that is both very strong and unique-looking. Also feels wonderful against the skin when worked into a scarf.

I bought 4 Oz which was enough to keep me going for quite a while, great quality Silk, though there were still leaves and other particles in it that doesn't bother me as I always strain. I definitely think it was worth the money and will shop here in the future for my silk needs.
