Malabrigo Sock Yarn

The colors of this yarn is truly amazing. When knit up, the yarn really comes to life. I knit a cowl in Rayon Vert and it came out great--no pooling at all but a lot of deep purples and reds and bronze. The yarn is a slight bit thinner than traditional sock yarn and is considered light fingering so use smaller needles.

Oh Malabrigo Sock Yarn, how I love thee! This is one of my all time favorite yarns. It feels amazing and holds up quite well to wear. The colors are beautiful and rich (what else would one expect from Malabrigo). I have encountered only two problems with this yarn. Occasionally, the colors are a little too vibrant (I have solved this problem in the past with a quick over dye in a color that compliments all colors in the color way) and the yarn can be a little splitty. Over all I love this yarn and return to it time and again. Highly recommended!

One of my very favorite sock yarns. I've never had to mend any of my Malabrigo socks and they are beautiful and soft. It also makes great shawls. Some of the colors are a little "busy" but most are very pleasing.
