Madelinetosh Tosh Sock Yarn

Madelinetosh sock yarn is my all-time favorite yarn. I have used it for shawls, cowls, scarves and fingerless mitts in addition to many pairs of socks. The twist is perfect for durability. Tosh colors are the most beautiful of any brand - they are so rich they seem to glow. I have lots of this yarn in my stash!

The yarn is wonderful to knit with. It gets a little grippy if you frog, but that is a very minor issue. The fabric is squooshy and wonderful, and I can't describe how wonderful the depth of color is. I ordered "Tart" and the dimensions of the blacks and reds on the strand were breathtaking. I spend a lot of time just staring at my yarn.

I will definitely be using this yarn again.

I grabbed this yarn up based on a recommendation of a wonderful person at Paradise Fibers. I am making Twisted Flower by Cookie A. It is gorgeous! The only down side is the cost of the yarn. But - let me tell you - it is quality!! Well worth every cent.

I lucked out. I bought a kit over the phone & hadn't heard of MadelineTosh before. When it arrived, I couldn't keep my hands off it. (I had substituted the "Thyme" for the dark color; but having seen this yarn & the others in the line, I think I'll skip the kit & make a shawl with my "Thyme", & a few other harmonious hues ... so many to choose amongst! :O)

Discovered this while doing the MadMay event on Ravelry. I can honestly say, once you start, you won't want to use anything else. I've used several bases now and they're all incedibly soft and scrumptous. The colors are lovely and it's a thrill to knit!

I made a gorgeous Cat Bourdi beaded moebius from this and it is absolutely gorgeous. The color progressions work very well.
