I am still trying to clean this wool using several different scouring products. I would not recommend buying this unless you have an incredible amount of time to clean and attempt to card it. In addition the cuts I received have many nepps.
While the resulting wool is really beautiful it took an enormous amount of time and effort to wash and clean to prepare for spinning. If you are looking for a challenge and have the time to endlessly pick out vegetable matter go for it. I did learn a lot about this fiber because I spent a lot time with it.
Super soft fiber and easily cleaned up. I love Shetland fibers.
There was some vm and dirt, but it combed out easily and washed up easily and is super soft for spinning.
