The Rye Socks from Tin Can Knits are super simple, quick knit socks in worsted weight yarn. Kits available in Children's and Adult sizes with 1-2 skeins of Urth Yarns Harvest or Monokrom Worsted Yarn. This hand-dyed, machine-washable, extrafine merino yarn will feel comfy and cozy while keeping your toes warm. These are the perfect socks for lounging around the house with a steaming cup of tea. 

If you are making an Adult S, there is enough yarn to make the Adult size in addition to a pair of Baby, Toddler, or Child's size socks. If you are making the Adult M, a Baby pair can be made in addition to the adult size.

Note: Be sure to check your gauge. You may need to go up a needle size or two. Although Tin Can Knits recommends a Worsted/Aran weight, the yarn they chose happens to knit up as a DK, leading to the recommended needle size of US 3 & US 5.

Sizing: Baby (Toddler, Child, Adult S, M, L)

Finished measurements (unstretched):
- Cuff: 5 (5.75, 6.5, 7.25, 8.25, 9)“ around
- Leg (adjustable): 4 (6.5, 8, 9.5, 10.5, 11.5)”
- Foot (adjustable): 4 (6, 7.5, 9, 10, 11.25)“

Recommended yarn weight: worsted/aran weight 

Yardage: 150 (175, 200, 250, 300, 350) yards

Needles size recommended: US #3 / 3.25mm & US #5 / 3.75mm DPNs (or circular for magic loop) (or as required to meet gauge)

Gauge: 22 sts and 30 rows/ 4” in stockinette stitch on larger needles
