United Statesit is a DEEP grey like BBQ charcoals before being lit. It matches wonerfully to an Oopsie dyed roving during a learning curve. Not that mistake can be a happy accident! If you lightly run your hands along the fibers in either direction it is very easy to tell which tip to draft from. Not so easy with other rovings i have learned with.
