I'm also a member of the Fiber of the Month Club (if you're a spinner and love monthly surprises, join now!!) and in one of the boxes delivered this past spring (2018) we received some Silk Mawata to dye. I enjoyed working with it so much that a few months later when my sis and I were planning a trip that included some time for us to dye fiber, I bought more for us to play with. The hankies are soooo soft and they take up dye beautifully and brilliantly. I have found this to be one of the easiest fibers to dye with acid dyes because silk doesn't felt -- so it's great for new dyers to experiment with! We dye them in heavy-duty disposable turkey pans in the oven on 170 for 30 minutes.
