Glacier Bay Beanie Pattern by Grace Akhrem

  • Yarn used: 1 ball of Louisa Harding Amitola (Light Fingering - 50g - 273yds)
  • Gauge: 20 stitches and 40 rows = 4 inches in garter stitch
  • Needle Size: US3 (3.25mm), 16" length.
  • Accessories needed: 2 stitch markers, Yarn needle.
  • Finished Measurements:

      • S -16 1⁄4"
      • M - 18 3⁄4"
      • L - 21"
    • Length:
      • S - 8 1⁄2"
      • M - 9"
      • L - 9 1⁄2"
Hat is knit flat. The first panel is worked from the bottom edge to the top of the crown, then stitches are picked up from the side edge and a second panel is knit on perpendicularly to the first. The hat is then closed with a seam. Brim is picked up from the bottom edge and worked in the round.
