The blanket or more correctly throw is wonderful. While being stunningly beautiful, it is also surprisingly warm. We keep our bedroom chilly bordering on cold so it was apparent how warm this throw is when put on our bed. I am very pleased with this purchase and have no regrets.

Icelandic wool is lightweight, temperature regulating, and moisture-wicking, meaning you will stay dry and comfortable no matter the adventure you take your blanket on. You'll love the classic woolly texture and beautiful patterns of the Lopi Wool blankets. These durable and lightweight blankets are suitable for cozy indoor snuggles and rugged outdoor adventures.
The Icelandic wool has been crucial to the survival of the nation as it provided both warmth and protection throughout centuries of harsh weather. It is also quite unique compared to the wool of other sheep breeds. The inner fibers are fine, soft, and highly insulating while the outer fibers are long, glossy, and water repellent. Therefore products made of Icelandic wool are extremely durable, lightweight, and breathable.
