Aluminum Acetate Powder Mordant - Cellulose fibers

Aluminum Acetate-Aluminum acetate is used for mordanting primarily cellulose and bast fibers. It is used in combination with cellulose scour which helps prepare the fibers for dyeing.  You may use percentages from 5-10% on the weight of the fiber.

• 100g of Aluminum Acetate is ample for mordanting 2000 grams (4.4 pounds) of fiber at 5%
