perfect

Absolutely perfect. So much smoother than a cotton band with a join. I have an old black rubber one on my bulky Mud Valley spinner, and it makes spinning easier. This one is nice and grippy and makes spinning so smooth. I had estimate the length I would need to create 2, and I got it right, shockingly! (I was too lazy to find my measuring tape) It would be helpful if lengths of popular wheels were listed. I ordered 16 feet to create 2 drive bands for an 1970s ashford traditional with a bulky flyer, and one for when I change the flyer. I had just about an inch or two left over.
