There is always a learning curve when using a new tool. For me I'd used dpns before but, I'd never used ones this small. I have struggled with too loose tension when it comes to my sock knitting the past few years. As a result, many of my socks had to be gifted because they were too large. I've been using these not long after purchase and as soon as I have a sock off the needles I put another sock onto them. I try to flip the needle between switching which one I"m using to minimize bending. When they do bend I gently bend them back. I've had no issues. Note: to be clear the bending is a result of the pressure I put on them while knitting, not anything wrong with the needles. I love Hiyahiya brand needles.
I love HiyaHiya needles, whether steel or bamboo.
Service is outstanding. You have to allow extra time to get it, however. It's worth the wait!
