Compass Moon Creations is the passion project of Jennefer Marker. From a little girl sitting in front of a knitting tower, to a young woman knitting her first scarf to combat the frigid Minnesota winter, to the north Idahoan craftswoman she is today, Jennefer found herself questing for a better, softer yarn. That is until she learned to create it herself. Over the past seven years, she has taken Compass Moon Creations to new heights, crafting and hand dyeing beautiful yarns, fibers, even stitch markers!
Jennefer strives to support the Northwest fiber farm community, and her fiber is primarily sourced from over 22 local hobby farms, home grown from happy, healthy Inland Northwest sheep. Jennefer’s whole family gets involved with prepping the fleeces to make something special with them! Handspun and hand dyed yarn, gorgeous carded art batts for spinning and felting, dryer balls, felting supplies, fiber locks and so much more! She primarily uses sheep’s wool, alpaca and goat fiber, but will spin and use everything from angora rabbit to camel….whatever soft, luscious stuff she can get her hands on! Besides yarns and fiber goodies, Jennefer also enjoys creating funky stitch markers, earrings and *bling* that promote fiber & yarn love!
