I knit a LOT of socks, and I've long been searching for the perfect needle. Wood splinters and bamboo bends. I thought Knitter's Pride Carbonz were the answer, until the carbon fiber began to wear away, leaving an awkward jump at the start of the metal points. Knitter's Pride Zings (aluminum) seemed good at first, but the tips were too blunt and the aluminum bends as much as bamboo. So far, I love these needles! They are not too slick, the points are sharp, and they feel strong enough to resist bending even in the smallest sizes. With one sock nearly finished, I'd buy these again!
