The Baa-ble Mittens and Cowl set by the talented Donna Smith is designed to go with the popular Baa-ble Hat featured at Shetland Wool Week 2015. This cold-weather knit is kitted with 4 colors of Jamieson's of Shetland Heather Aran Yarn. This pattern is designed specifaclly for this durable and cozy 100% Shetland Wool Yarn. You will need to knit at a fairly tight gauge on US6 and US7 size needles to complete this perfect introduction to Shetland knitting techniques.

The inspiration for these cowl and mitts, and matching hat, came from the sheep and colors of the croft the designer lives on in Shetland during the winter months. The strong Shetland wind blowing through the hillsides is blocked out with this tightly knit, cozy cowl and mitt duo.
