Cancer Care Northwest, Hugs of Hope, and all of us here at Paradise Fibers send a special THANK YOU to all fiber artists for your generous donations to Hugs of Hope. Your gift of time and creativity will bring comfort and joy to women facing breast cancer. You smashed our goal of 100 shawls donating 286 shawls, 48 hats, 5 lap robes, 3 blankets, and 2 scarves all beautifully done.
Many shared personal stories of recovery. Some donated in memory of a loved one who was lost. All were incredibly inspirational. Thank you for sharing.

We need your help in supporting women fighting breast cancer in our community.
In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Paradise Fibers is partnering with Cancer Care Northwest to provide Hugs of Hope to women diagnosed with breast cancer. We are accepting knitted, crochet, or woven shawls or wraps, to be donated to patients battling breast cancer in our community.
These garments will provide a warm "hug" of hope to these women...wrapping them in love and support during their breast cancer journey.
Please drop off or mail in your completed garment, with fiber content and your contact information at Paradise Fibers located at 225 W. Indiana Ave, Spokane Washington 99205 no later than Saturday, September 24, 2022. You may also choose to enclose a personalized note of encouragement to be included with your donation. Your generous gift will be distributed by Cancer Care Northwest.
