I love the yarn, it works up easily. My problem is that I purchased 5 skeins and they knit up in different color ways. I am knitting a prayer shawl and the first 17 inches area bright, with some red areas, the second was mostly dark greens, removed that and the third try is primarily pastels. I will be visiting the store to see what help I can get. Two have been unraveled. I do like the yarn. I’m sure the dying which makes so unique has something to do with it. See you soon, Marcia Milani
Hello Marcia, Thank you for coming into the store so we could help you with your project! I am confident that the solution we came up with will look beautiful worked up into your prayer shawl. I am certain the 5 skeins alternated throughout the shawl every 10 rows will create a mosaic painterly effect, hiding the variation between the skeins beautifully! We love Malabrigo too, being that it's hand dyed no two skeins tend to look exact. This allows room for extra creativity! I hope what we discussed is working out for you, come see us if not. Otherwise, can't wait to see the finished shawl! - Artsy
Havent moved past the stare touch and pet phase as of yet. it is quite soft and once i find a worthy project im sure it will be lovely
I have yet to make anything with this yarn as I'm sure rings true with many knitters. I do however plan on knitting some socks with it as soon as finish the ones I'm currently making. I really like this yarn, it has a good feel to it and I've used it for other projects with wonderful results!
Very nice to work with, I love the feel of natural fibers.
