I have this in mahogany and I absolutely love it
This Kromski polonaise wheel, is my very first wheel. I watched a few videos on how to put it together (as well as how to use it), which made it easier. As for use, well all I can say is I am hooked. I love spinning on this wheel so much that I am thinking of buying another Kromski to take with me while traveling. I spin as much as a full bobbin a day to relax after work. I like that all the bobbins are interchangeable between wheels. This was a great factor in my choosing a Kromski. I had a wonderful time trying out different wheels at Paradise Fibers. They made sure I had the basics down, which is why I bought it there.
Sure am enjoying my Kromski Symphony Spinning Wheel. It is also a beautiful collection piece. I will look forward to years of use. Thanks Paradise.
Kromski's Symphony Spinning Wheel is their largest Saxony wheel, with a diameter of 24" and orifice height of 27". A double drive wheel with single drive capabilities, this exquisite wheel commands the room with it's sloping bench and 43" width, although it only weighs 15lbs. Outstanding craftmanship and meticulous artistry in every component make this a timeless beauty. Available in unfinished, finished clear, mahogany, and walnut and includes Separate Arched Lazy Kate, 2 bobbins, Threading Hook, Spinning Wheel Oil, and a Wrench.
You will truly feel like a fairytale prince or princess with the grand beauty of the Symphony in your home.
Jumbo Flyer kits are available to upgrade your wheel. These expand the spinners range in two ways. First, the type of yarn created can vary from lace-weight to super bulky art yarn because of the larger orifice on the jumbo flyer. Subsequently, the jumbo bobbin allows spinners twice the capacity of the regular Kromski bobbin. A regular Kromski bobbin already offers 50% greater space than most standard bobbins in the industry with a generous 4.2 ounce capacity. Jumbo bobbins double that, essentially allowing you to spin two regular bobbins worth without a bobbin change!! This means longer, continual drafts for skeins with greater yardage.
