Combined with the stainless steel, they feel like surgical instruments. The cable is very flexible and doesn't get kinked up. The size is marked on the needle and they weigh barely anything. I've tried almost every needle out there and I am in love forever with these red and silver rockets. The cable is the main reason but the tips are amazing as well. Sharp when they need to be and not so much in bigger sizes. The cables are absolutely the easiest to use with NO kinking, no scratching or stretching or flipping up and hitting you in the face when you are working on close work. They stay loose and relaxed, ever after you wind them up and put them in a tight bag. They are this way right out of the bag!!! I will buy these forever and never buy another kind.
