This is one of my favorites to spin. I’ve blended it with other fibers, and spun by itself. It’s very soft and shiny. The perfect pink!! Christine K.
I really like this fiber. It's extremely soft and spins into a DELIGHTFUL yarn!
Very easy to spin fine, soft on the hands and a beautiful pink. This will feel comfortable as a scarf against my neck.
My curiosity about Rose fiber has been my undoing! I found this fiber was a dream to spin up and produced very desirable skeins of wool. It turns out however that it was originally bought in an insufficient quantity to complete a dream project. This has led me to reorder more of the same fiber. In my enthusiasm, I overlooked the likelihood of a change in dye lot! Now, I must adjust my pattern to minimize the awkwardness of the color change. Lesson learned --- buy more rather than less fiber on the first go around. I repeat, it is a joy to spin!
This is just as soft as it looks! The rose fiber adds a nice seen to the blend, and the color of the mix is beautiful. I will definitely purchase again!
Quartz Rose Micro Blend with actual Rose Fiber Blended into the carded roving. Inspired by the Pantone Colors of the year 2016 and Rose Quartz Crystals.
Quartz Rose consists of a Lofty and SUPERSOFT micro-blend of:
The fiber content of this dreamy blend makes it such a joy to spin. The fluffy soft texture, the way the light gleams off the rose and bamboo fibers, and the airy almost weightless qualities make Quartz Rose a must try to spin! Providing a durable yarn with drape and a silky smooth finish with a slight halo. The contrast of the pink bamboo against the silky white rose fiber, the starch white faux cashmere, and the tonal pastel pink superfine merino creates a ready to spin fiber. This fiber would be gorgeous in a woven project, or even blended with other fibers. Create to your heart's desire.
