Incredibly soft fiber in lustrous and smooth vibrant colors.
Colors may vary slightly from batch to batch due to the nature of natural fiber. We have taken every step to represent the colors correctly. Colors can change depending on your screen settings.
I absolutely loved spinning the constellation range! I used the fractal spinning technique from the November fiber box to spin the Aquila, Aries, Aquarius, Leo, Taurus and Virgo. The end result was a fun 2-ply yarn that was vibrant and unique. I ended up calling it Melted Crayons. I will say because of the high percentage of tussah silk the roving is quite slick and it is easier to work with if you pull it into pencil rovings. Thankfully the blend is smooth enough that the pencil rovings remain consistent to the original color (I hate when you get a poorly blended roving that gets messed up if it is split). All-in-all I am fully satisfied with what I received and can't wait to spin up the rest of what I have!!
This stuff is a dream to spin - easy and smooth! The colors are amazing. I’m showing Leo, here, but I have more than a few of these and love them all! Highly recommended.
This is one of the loveliest merino/silk tops I have ever purchased anywhere at anytime. Can't wait to make a cobweb scarf and use the leftovers as embellishment!
This fiber is easy to spin and makes a beautiful soft yarn. I keep coming back to Paradise for quality products, well priced, and fast shipping. Thanks!
The shipment was perfect except that Canadian Customs classified this product as "steel" without opening the box or checking to see what your store sold. Please identify your products send to Canada as "Wool fiber for hobby spinning". I love spinning your fiber but these nasty customs surprises are unpleasant. I have requested a review of the assessment. I am looking forward to spinning this lovely fiber during the Tour de Fleece.
