Ashland bay merino rovings are a staple that I use for my wet felted and Nuno felted accessories and clothing. I like to dye my own wool, but many times I don't want to deal with the hassle and I can always count on a consistent lay down of the fiber as well.
I reorder Ashland Bay's Nutmeg repeatedly. I use it a lot for fall. It has a very nice rich brown tone with a burnt orange vibrance. What I love about the Ashland Bay line is that the fiber quality is almost always consistent; hand, length, color. I am a wet felt artist , and this is a fast felter at 21mc and feels fine next to skin.
I love Ashland bay merino wool. This specific color is so beautiful and bold. Reminds me of the Caribbean a little bit.
I'm very pleased with this lovely red merino wool top ~ and the other brilliant colors I bought. Colors are true and the wool is a dream to spin.
