As a novice spinner, I was pleasantly surprised by how easily this fiber spun up. It’s soft and shimmers.
I’ve never spun cotton before, so I’m really looking forward to trying this out and learning something new!
Why did I buy a pound?! This is so hard to work with! It feels amazing, but don’t go over board like I did. If you can test it out in shop, definitely do that like I did, then be reasonable with the amount you buy. I am sure I can return some, I probably should if I can, but probably won’t because I am stubborn.
If you’ve had a hard time spinning cotton before , try this - it’s a bit longer in staple , it’s absolutely beautiful ! I’m so glad I gave cotton another try . I also mixed this with merino for a great combination - I added a dyed merino top ( or two) to get color I wanted . Also is very pretty if not blended completely - a marled look . Lovely
