The Matchless This beautiful American-made spinning wheel comes with two flyer whorls: one with drive ratios of 9:1 and 11:1 for medium weight yarns and one with ratios of 13:1 and 16:1 for spinning fine yarns. The Schacht wheel has a double drive band with a Scotch tension option. The 19 1/2" drive wheel and flyer shaft are supported by self-aligning bronze bearings. On the single-treadle model, a large treadle allows use of either or both feet. The double-treadle model offers effortless treadling with both feet. The Schacht comes with its own carrying strap, a tensioning lazy kate, and four large bobbins. -single treadle $749 |
