We carry loom reeds from all of the popular manufacturers of weaving looms. Typically on a rigid heddle loom the reed will be plastic and used for beating as well as raising and lowering the threads while weaving. On table looms and floor looms the threads are raised and lowered by frames generally referred to as shafts and the reed is only used to beat the threads after weaving across the weft to secure the weave. We have reeds for the LeClerc Voyageur, Nilus and Dorothy looms as well as the complete collection of rigid heddle reeds for the Ashford Knitter's Loom and Ashford Rigid Heddle. The Schacht Flip loom comes with a built in second heddle kit and we sell the additional reeds for that loom as well, make sure to get the same reed as you need to use two of the same reed when using a second heddle weaving setup.
