Ashford Maintenance Kit essential parts

I have recently started using a Kiwi Spining wheel. I bought the kit for the needed part. I was delighted that it cane so quickly and that in addition to the many parts in the kit, there were two of the conrod joints .

I haven't used the things in the kit yet, just bought it because I like to be prepared.

I received a Traditional from a relative (that was theirs and well cared for) for Christmas. Parts needed replacing as they were original and this kit had everything. The only problem I had was that there were no directions on tying the drive band. On the other hand as My wheel is a single drive the drive band that was sent in the kit was enough for 2 drive bands.

I really needed many of the items in this kit. I was happy to see I could buy them all in a kit form. I have used several of the items and feel good that the others are there if and when I need them.

This kit had my wheel that was out of whack from moving up and running in less than a half an hour. It had everything I needed. I replaced the driveband, scotch tension and broken con rod joint. Great instructions. Fast easy transaction [...]. I am more than pleased.

I purchased this kit to refurb a used ashford traditional wheel I had picked up.
The only thing I didn't have in the kit that I needed was a tension peg.
Will need to order yet.

I had found an Ashford Traditional Wheel in like new condition at an estate sale this summer, it needed some minor work done and so I needed the maint kit. I was able to get it from here in a very timely fashion and my instructions about not leaving the package on my porch were followed. I would definitly buy from this site again and will do so in the future when I need more roaving

I bought a 1975 Traditional second-hand and it had been sitting in almost new condition in storage for 35 years. It had developed corrosion on the hooks and the conrod joint had dried out and quickly broke off when trying to spin. This kit enabled me to quickly and easily swap out the hooks and joint as well as giving me a replacement drive band (the old one was icky) and brake band (none came with the wheel). The oil is awesome and keeps it running smoothly. For this price, I don't think you can afford to NOT have it around.

I ordered the kit to repair my Ashford Traditional. The kit came with almost everything I needed (except a screwdriver). [...] I have extra parts and maintenance supplies up the wazoo from this kit and am very glad I ordered it. I'd suggest this to anyone with an ashford wheel for sure.

I am just learning to spin, and needed to update a used spinning wheel from a relative. The kit was very helpful and made it possible for me to take my first spinning lesson. Thanks for carrying Ashford products. I love my Ashford Spinning Wheel.

Very handy to have all the necessary parts if I ever need to make a repair while out spinning somewhere. I especially like the fine tip on the oil bottle, makes it easy to get into those small places to keep my wheel running quietly. This maintenance kit goes everywhere my wheel goes!
