The legs have been turned so that you can make a permanent adjustment to the seat height from 17" to 18.5". And if not for spinning, you will find this stool works well in a variety of settings and is not just for Kromski Spinning Wheels and work well with Ashford and the Lendrum Wheels. Available unfinished, clear lacquer, walnut or mahogany.

I purchased this stool in walnut to match my Kromski Prelude spinning wheel. It is very sturdy and well constructed. The finish is beautiful. It is definitely a piece of furniture. I was surprised at how comfortable it is. I am only 5 foot tall and have difficulty finding thing that "fit" me. I can sit comfortably for several hours spinning. My leg tires before my seat. Definitely money well spent.

The photo of this stool is deceiving, since it is actually taller than it appears in the photo. It is the perfect height for spinning with my Ashford Traveller wheel. The grain of the wood is beautiful. It is not just a stool, but a piece of furniture. The seat is contoured, making it comfortable to sit on for long periods of time. I am very happy with this lovely stool.
