*SPECIAL* Ashland Bay Dyed Corriedale Spinning Fiber 1lb Bag - Grape

I loved spinning this wool. It was a breeze to spin and it has subtle hues of red throughout the purple. It looks like it has highlights. I still have some left and I have already made four skeins. I am going to felt the rest into a cobweb scarf. I highly recommend this product !

So soft, was a little nervous as I bought 3 lbs. Hopefully will be enough to make a vibrant sweater. Extremely soft.

I have small amounts of Corriedale that I've been using for needle felting, and now that I've been trying my hand at spinning with a drop spindle, this came up at the perfect time. It is soft, evenly dyed and simply lovely. Testing it a bit of the fiber, it twists up beautifully and evenly.

I bought this because of the special pricing and am sorry that I missed out on the other colors that had already sold out. This is a BEAUTIFUL deep purple and very soft to the touch. My first project was to wetfelt a large bowl with it and it turned out awesome! Paradise Fibers...please get more!

I am a beginner spinner and have only spun Romley until I thought I would try this Corriedale. It was so easy to spin plus it is so soft and the fiber seems to be making a beautiful handspun yarn. I liked it so well that I immediately ordered some off-white as well. The price was fantastic, especially when part of it is practice yarn in my case. This was a great deal on a pound of lovely fiber. Of course, the color "grape" had me immediately. This is the first time I've spun Corriedale. I just started spinning it today. It spins really well and behaves very nicely (it gets high marks for deportment). I'm really happy with it.

I purchased this fiber online as I am just learning to spin and the price was very good. I wasn't sure I would care for the purple but figured it would be great practice fiber. I was pleasantly surprised by the color and sheen and feel. I almost hate to practice with such lovely fiber but I am going to spin it up as planned and just buy more.
