Schacht Reeves Saxony Spinning Wheel

With classic fairy tale good looks and a huge drive wheel she is magnificent to behold.  The giant drive wheel really excels at long draw and other techniques you that require a really consistent draw and smooth spinning action.  This wheel is designed for all spinners from beginner to advanced and is a breeze to learn on. The Saxony wheel is available in 24" and 30" sizes,  
Beautifully crafted, the Saxony wheel captures an enduring sense of history with state-of-the-art woodworking techniques. Designed in conjunction with Rick and Marge Reeves, the Saxony wheel incorporates traditional design in a wheel that is a superb spinner. Included with both Scotch tension and double drive modes. Flyer on the left is standard but this wheel is available custom order with a right -mounted flyer by special request but please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery. Our Schacht-Reeves Saxony wheel is availabe in 24inch and 30inch models, as a double or single treadle, and in ash or cherry. Flyer on the left is standard; right-mounted flyer is available by special request.

Each wheel comes with three bobbins, two whorls, a Lazy Kate, and threading hook.

Whorl ratios: 24" - 12:1 to 20:1; 30" - 16:1 to 25:1
