Rowan Kidsilk Haze Yarn

I felt like I was knitting up a cloud when I made a poncho with this in Jelly. One ball seemed to last forever! I used to not like knitting with mohair because it was hard to frog and reknit but Kidsilk haze was easy to do simple stockinette as well as lace. The mohair seems to hold on to the stitch so if I dropped a stitch it was easy to pick it up. And it is very warm despite being so lightweight.

The colors are delicious, the yardage is not bad for the price, and it's a lot stronger than it looks. I love to use it as as carry-along to "warm up" or soften other yarns or to add a cast of a contrast color. Plus, there are some great KSH only patterns by Kaffe Fasset. When you can get it on sale, just get an assortment of colors for your stash -- that's what I'm doing today!
