I used this nice wool top for creating my signature felted dryer balls. It felts up very nicely and quickly in my washing machine. It does have a "clean sheep" smell that may turn some off, but after washing and felting, the smell fades noticeably. I think this would also take dye well, and hope to try spinning some. I have already ordered more!

I teach beginning spinning classes and this is great for the first time spinner. Easy to draft and doesn't clump up. Enjoyed working with it myself! It dyes like a dream and is very consistent in quality. I've spun single ply, 2-ply worsted weight with it and have also used it as the base yarn for lock spun art yarn. Really is a bargain at the price!

this fiber is fairly soft for the price and staple length.
it is a great beginners fiber
takes dye well
my 5yo has been interested in what im doing on my wheel so i bought him this for Christmas so he can spin, i will pin draft it for him so he can just spin and go!

I've used this for wet felting and I just love it! Very reasonably priced especially for a novice like myself who doesn't want to invest a lot in the learning curve. I've searched other shops for this quality at this great a price, but always end up back at Paradise Fibers.

This is a good fiber for a new spinner, such as myself. The yarn product is a bit scratchy, but I'm not sure if that's the way I spin or the fiber itself. Fast shipping too.

I purchased this wool so that I could practice dying fibers. It all turned out great!! I also used for the outer layer for wet felting slippers. They turned out great. I am just learning to spin however, I am enjoying this wool at this price for lots of practice will be getting more soon. Thanks for your great prices paradise fiber family!!!!

I used this fiber for wet felting slippers and it worked beautifully! I was able to add colorful bits of other fiber to give them personality and they felted very nicely. The wool was a fabulous deal too.
