Comb OUT! Review by Rebecca
-
Now I can comb out all that veg matter from the fiber and get dizzy with a diz. I have been using the finger pick method then carding as I have been spinning woolen. Worsted here I come. Couldn't afford the pricier, albeit nicer comb sets. I don't need fancy, or pretty. I need workhorses to get the job done. Thanks.

My New Combs Review by Patricia
-
They are beautiful and they work wonderfully on my Romney and BFL. I ordered the Cherry.
I read about these combs and then watched the video. I had looked at very expensive European combs and just thought the price prohibitive especially site unseen. So I ordered these. Arrived in a wink of an eye too. Thank you!

Terrific Review by Bluewolfwalking

I love my hand combs! They have proved to be very versatile and the cherry wood is beautiful. I especially like the shape of the handles--I don't have to grip as tightly to keep them from slipping out of my hand. I recommend them!

Love them now that I know how to use them! Review by Lindentree

These combs are indeed super sharp and dangerous if you don't know how to use them. I got a few scratches when I first tried, and I put them away for a few months. THEN I took a class on fiber prep and learned how to gently comb locks without hurting myself, the fiber, or the combs! I absolutely love combing with them now, and they have worked beautifully on shetland, romney, and various longwools. The tines are quite strong and have not bent despite my clumsy early efforts and the strong, slightly cotted Gotland locks I've used on them.

Paradise Wool combs Review by Woollover
-
I am excited to try these. I have been looking for a good set of combs and these come recommended to me. I hear they are easy to hold and have nice tines in double rows. . . something I have had a hard time finding!

Paradise Fibers Handmade Wool Combs Review by Juanita Robinson
-
This company was a delight to work with! Not only did I get an immediate confirmation of my order made on-line, but I also received a personal one by one of the owners. Playful words for my playful, joyful and somewhat silly hobby of spinning. I couldn't wait to get the comb; I had spent two wool fiber festivals between June and September trying to buy a pair of wool combs and they either didn't have any or they were the wrong size. I got a promise of a discount if I ordered from them on-line, but it was the wrong size, again. Paradise Fibers kept showing up on all my internet seraches so I finally pursued. I received the combs in less than a week and I am thrilled! Thank you, Thank you, Paradise Fiber Folks I will most certainly do business with you again!

wool combs Review by Jean Munson
-
I've never used wool combs before, so I'm learning something new. I'm using the hand combs to comb some corriedale fiber and they seem to be working well. The video on your web page helped me. I didn't do a lot of research on which combs to use with which fiber (didn't realize that combs come in more than one size), and suggest that this be covered in your video. Thanks.

Definitely worth the cost Review by Pam
-
These combs can be dangerous as they are very sharp and take practice to learn to use. But after combing two fleeces, I don't have to send my wool off for carding! A lightweight glove or a bandaid on the finger helps keep the "nicks" from the comb teeth to a minimum. Also tones the muscles in your arms and "chest".
