I have several different sets and single Susan Bates hooks and Afghan hooks. These hooks are very easy to work with. Because they are made of aluminum, the fiber slides easily along the hook while crocheting. These are a must have staple for any crocheters tool set.

There is something to be said for the old standby in crochet hooks. I travel a lot, and these hold up to luggage handling. If I accidentally leave them somewhere, I don't feel bad. They are fast and shiny. I think the hook could be more defined, though. They tend to be shallow, and larger yarns can slip out of them.
