So gorgeous! Review by Angie

This is my new favorite fiber. It's super soft and silky and absolutely gorgeous. It's a joy to spin, and I love it even more than regular cashmere--especially the price!

So soft! Review by Brittany
-
This is such a nice fiber! I can not afford enough cashmere for a project, but this fiber is a great substitute. It is very soft and lofty, and is great to spin alone or in a blended batt.
Be forewarned that when it is wet, it is incredibly slippery and needs to be handled with care. This is true of any nylon/faux fiber.

I could not believe how wonderful this is to touch. I have only spun a very small sample of this, but I am in love!

Wonderful product and good seller. I love to dye this fiber and either spin alone or blend. The color it gives off is amazing . I always reorder this item.

Takes dye so well! Review by Barb
-
This is very nice soft fiber. It would be easy to spin this by itself, but I use it to blend with other fibers on my drum carder. It takes dye very well. I remains soft and airy even after dying. I will be purchasing more.

Soft but fiddly Review by Holly
-
The first faux cashmere I ever spun was Louet's. It was and is an absolute thrill to spin and makes spinning extra fine a breeze. The singles were extra fine and slick, and the resulting yarn was wonderfully squishy and the best yarn I've spun to date. I loved it so much that I ordered some more, but also ordered some of this (Paradise Fiber's version) to see if there was a big difference between the two. It IS very verrry soft, but I was sadly disappointed otherwise. Where Louet's is smooth and easy to pull into sections, this stuff was fuzzy and unruly. Simply trying to split it down the center made the top fall apart every which way to the point where it was just a fluffy clump. Trying to spin it resulted in a frustrating and fuzzy single that just got fuzzier and fuzzier due to static. I did find that it worked ok for carding though. In fact, I suspect carding is the only thing I will use it for.
One other thing worth mentioning is that Louet's faux cashmere top dyed beautifully, whereas Paradise Fiber's became unrecognizable as top the second it was submerged in water.

Fantastic, great for dyeing and blending with other fibers. Very soft with slight halo effect too. Customers love it.

Faux, not Fake! Review by Lindy
-
Though I appreciate the honesty of identifying this fiber as 'fake', it is unjust to do so! When I teach my 'Know Your Fibers' class this Faux Cashmere is so much fun! The Students touch the roving, exclaiming, "How Soft!" but when I hand them a wheel spun skein, without exception, everyone buries their face in it! Then I tell them what it is-nylon! Incredible fiber. It was a little slippery to handle at first, but soon enough I got the hang of it. I will say it again, "So much fun". And so very, very white, I don't want to dye it, which is saying a lot, as I tend to dye anything that doesn't outrun me!

faux Mohair Review by Dzvinka

Natural mohair fiber is so hard to wear for those with allergies. This fiber is silky, soft and blendable with other faux fibers. A wonderful alternative to the real thing!
