Rug Wool Review by Priscilla
-
I'm spinning this to add to other Romney I have spun into rug yarn. This is a nice preparation and easy to spin. It's a really nice heathery grey color. I love the hint of sheepy smell when you burry your nose in it. Baaaa

Excellent!! My favorite so far! Review by Margret

This roving is perfect core roving and for projects that need a rougher look and feel for needle felted projects. The fibers catch and condense quickly and it is very easy to shape and to sculp. Especially good for beginner needle felters wanting to try their hands at scultping. I will use up the 20 oz. I purchased in no time.

Beautiful wool Review by Holly
-
I would have to say that out of all the natural colors of perendale-romney available here, I like this one the best. Like all the other colors, this spins easily and quickly, but the natural color results in slightly variegated, soft gray yarn that looks wonderfully archaic and rustic. It does take dye just fine, but I just can't bring myself to change the color of any of the resulting yarn.

Good value and results for felt carpet, which uses a lot of wool Review by Barbara
-
I used this, and some other colors of the Perendale Romney wool in a small felt carpet. It was easy to work with and felted well. The relatively low cost per ounce was a plus, since I used a total of about 3 lbs of wool to make the carpet.

Awesome for starting out Review by Erin

I purchased 8oz of this when I bought my first drop spindle, and it has been amazing for learning how to draft and control the spinning. It's not really soft once spun, but will make a wonderful outer-wear shawl once I"m finished. Loving, sad that I'm almost through the 8oz, will probably order some in white so I can try dying it next!

I've never bought spinning fiber before... Review by
-
I've never bought spinning fiber before, but I am glad I went here! I loved the discount for buying 8 oz of it, and I really liked how it was recommended for beginners like me. I never knew 8 oz of wool would be so much either, so I am looking forward to practicing with this and then going on to something more difficult. It is definitely ready to spin and everything!
