this fiber is fairly soft for the price and staple length.
it is a great beginners fiber
takes dye well
my 5yo has been interested in what im doing on my wheel so i bought him this for Christmas so he can spin, i will pin draft it for him so he can just spin and go!

I've used this for wet felting and I just love it! Very reasonably priced especially for a novice like myself who doesn't want to invest a lot in the learning curve. I've searched other shops for this quality at this great a price, but always end up back at Paradise Fibers.

This is a good fiber for a new spinner, such as myself. The yarn product is a bit scratchy, but I'm not sure if that's the way I spin or the fiber itself. Fast shipping too.

I purchased this wool so that I could practice dying fibers. It all turned out great!! I also used for the outer layer for wet felting slippers. They turned out great. I am just learning to spin however, I am enjoying this wool at this price for lots of practice will be getting more soon. Thanks for your great prices paradise fiber family!!!!

I used this fiber for wet felting slippers and it worked beautifully! I was able to add colorful bits of other fiber to give them personality and they felted very nicely. The wool was a fabulous deal too.

I have not used the roving yet but from the feel of it, I expect it to be great for felting.

I'm too new to spinning to give a reliable comparison review, but this wool seems very nice to me. Spins beautifully; seems a wee bit scratchy but I wouldn't hesitate to make hats, bags, anything that doesn't lay directly next to the skin. Excellent for practice and an unbeatable price. I would have bought more but I cleaned out their stock as it is.

This arrived sooner than expected and was really well packaged. The product was very clean and well combed, I would reccommend this to a friend and repurchase.

This top is quite a bit softer than I expected from Norwegian wool, and a very crisp white. It is very nice, and I think will dye beautifully.

This is really gorgeous fiber and a nice price also. Very soft. I had not seen Norwegian before. I love it. I will order more for sure.

I'm a spindle spinner, and this is the only wool I buy. Ignore that it's the least expensive, it spins beautifully. Thick or thin, it performs.
It's coarse, so I use it for outerwear, like cardigans, mittens, scarves.

I use Norwegian fiber for first-time spinners. It is a nice fiber to start with because it has a medium staple length and good "tooth", so it will hold together as a single even if it is an imperfect beginner's single.

The cream color in a good base for dyeing.

The fiber is not at all fragile. A heavy yarn made from this fiber would be good for a rug or other hard use.

My teacher recommended I get something more "sticky" to learn on, I saw the review and decided to try it. This was FABULOUS to learn with. I quickly went through the 4oz and came back for more!

I teach spinning workshops, and I just put in my second order for this wonderful Norwegian top. It is so EASY for beginners to learn on, much better than other fibers I've used to teach with in the past. The drafting is fast and butter-smooth, no clumping or sticking even for my first-time students. It was also great fun for ME to spin, as it requires so little work from the spinner. I nick-named this "finger candy". :-)

This is the very first wool I've purchased and have had a marvelous time learning to spin with it it's so forgiving and just a lot of fun.

You can not beat the price on this superb, quality fiber. Dyes beautifully, and spins very easily. I spun a two-ply worsted weight yarn that was wonderfully soft and fuzzy when I knitted up a swatch. I was pleasantly surprised.

This is a splendid cheap fiber. Drafts like a dream (not compacted) and quite soft so you can make your own Lopi. Wool gets harsher in the grays and darker colors. Also dyes very well.
