Incredibly soft - don't let the fact that you can't feel it first deter you - you won't regret the purchase. I have been watching this item - a popular one that unfortunately is often sold out. I grabbed a couple of pounds the first chance I had. No regrets!

This Merino top is excellent quality. It has very little VM, is as soft as described, takes dye easily, and is all around a sound purchase. If you're in the market for a pound or two of well-priced ecru merino, this is your stuff.

This roving was incredible. I have not purchased roving on line before so was a bit hesitant. My worries were for naught. It was so soft and perfect for the nuno felting. I have used some already and it made a great, soft, warm finished product. Thanks!

This roving is incredible! It's So Very Soft! I'm hoping to make a sweater out of it since its so soft! My only complaint was my order took a full week to get here which seemed like a long time as I was waiting on it for a project.

Easy to dye......great for Nuno felting......so soft. This is a great price for this top and it worked well on my Habotai silk. I will definitely order more in the future. As usual, Paradise Fibers rock my world.

I love this fiber. I have used it for Nuno felting it is great really. I also Wet felt slippers we all love how soft it is.. We also use this wool for needle felting makes great beards and hair dyes well also. Please hurry and get some more in. Oh I don't think anyone could find a better company to work with. Only one draw back it is out of stock right now. I will be getting a couple of pounds as soon as it is back in stock.

I purchased this top to specifically spin into a very, very fine lace weight yarn (34+ wpi). It has both the softness and elasticity for a beautiful 2 ply lace weight yarn. If, however, your goal is more a gossamer weight yarn I found it to contain neps that are hard to easily pull out. I found myself breaking off and restarting my spinning often. The Ashland Bay superfine 19 count was much better prepared for a very, very fine lace weight singel. If you are making a yarn that is regular lace weight or fingering weight this top is beautiful. And it knits up into a beautiful springy lace.

This merino is very, very soft and very fine. Spins up beautifully for most projects. I was, however, looking for a superfine merino to spin into a very, very fine laceweight yarn for a wedding ring shawl. For this purpose, while it spun easily, it contained too many neps that were hard to remove from a very fine single....the only option was to break it off and continue, which was much more time consuming than using the Ashland Bay superfine 19 micron count. The Ashland Bay had only a few neps and they could be picked off. If you are making anything other than very fine yarn it is beautiful top.

This is one of the finest merino wools I have used. Very soft. Separates easily when separating. It also is very clean. This is my second order of this wool. There will be a third.

The Merino Top Ecru, 18.5 micron was much more than I expected. It felts luxuriously and it is within my price range. I received it promptly and immediately made a beautiful flower and scarf. Thank you. It was a great experience.

Wow, this is really, really soft merino. They are right when they say one feel and you'll know why it's pricey. This top dyed really well, held together in the pot fabulous and is a treat to work with.
Don't let the price scare you, it is worth every penny.

Tried to dye this fiber with Kool-Aid. Granted I am a beginner spinner and this was my second attempt at dyeing something other than superwash. I ended up felting and ruining 8 ounces of the pound I bought which kinda sucked. But you live and learn right? Other than my own disaster in the dyeing dept. [...] I'm very satisfied.

I am a felter and this is the most wonderful fiber. It felts so easily and creates the softest fabric. I purchased the ecru to use with indigo and cochineal dyes. I also used it for some shibori techniques and the results are amazing. Soft, flexible with gorgeous color quality. And the price is right! Thank you Paradise!!

I used this fiber to felt a beautiful scarf. I felted it onto silk chiffon in a lattice pattern. It was soft and the color was a beautiful creamy white. It felted evenly and quickly. I can't think of anything bad about it.[...]

Very, very soft wool at a great price. I compare it to Malabrigo. If you have sensitive skin, you will not be sorry. If you want to pamper yourself, you'll be thrilled. I'm so happy with this that I have held off buying a lot of other types of wool, like Cormo, because I can afford a whole luxury sweater's worth of this. I'll be back for more!
