High quality silk noil, soft and perfect for blending in some texture to your yarn. This Noil is Cultivated-Mulberry fed silk, GRADE A quality, you will love blending this with other fibers for unique effects. Use Dyed with Country Classics Dye for wild and crazy yarn designs or use undyed for a more modest textured effect. This fiber can be spun by without being blended but is not generally prepared this way and is recommended to be mixed with wool or other fibers of your choice.

This is absolutely gorgeous. I sew as well as knit and do fiber work and I work with a lot of dupioni silk. This is like fluffy mounds and mounds of dupioni. I now have a huge bag to play with and I can't wait!

The first time I spun with this, I had no idea what I was doing, and ended up with a very thin, uneven yarn that kept breaking. After some practice, though, I found that this makes a wonderful blending fiber with wool, angora, or alpaca, resulting in a wonderfully knobbly yarn with a great texture and sheen. A little goes a long way, with fantastic results.

I am a newer spinner and started out with a fiber blended with silk noil and decided to get this to try. LOVE it! Not sure about the cleanliness (this is the only place I've purchased) but it looks fine. That is the ONLY reason I put 4 out of 5 stars on "Quality". Looking around on the internet, the price here is very reasonable for the amount.

I always purchase my silk noil thru paradise. this is the best i have found and i have experience purchasing from many sellers. it is the softest, takes dye the best and has the least contamination. it is very clean and nice!

A good tip is to exfoliate your skin before using the noil, otherwise it will snag on your hangnails. It blended beautifully with cotton, alpaca, wool, quivit...I haven't run out of uses yet!
