Paradise Fibers Blending Nylon Roving White

Have ordered this before and will keep on.
Takes dye beautifully , just a wonderful soft fiber.

I am a photographer by trade and buying props gets expensive! I see everyone selling these thick braids to lay the babies on and think I can do that! This roving is perfect- thick, took the dye well, still feels soft, and braids easily. Got here quick too. Thanks for helping me up my prop collection :)

This is perfect for blending. It adds strength and smoothness to those more exotic fibers. It isn't coarse and does not make your hands sore handling it like some "bargain" nylon fibers do. I have some great project ideas for this ....

This nylon top is great quality. I've tried others and this I prefer. Reasonable softness,super strength. The dye take up is out of this world ! You will get some of the best color depth you've ever seen. I suggest anyone try this with no hesitation.

I gave this fiber a try recently, and was surprised at how much I liked it. I had previously had my nose in the air about spinning man made fiber, but at the price, decided I would give it a shot. I dyed it up with powdered drink mix and the colors were pretty. Not as vibrant as it comes out on wool, more subtle. I blended it in with wool and alpaca on the drum carder and was pleased with the results.

I was very happy to receive my order so fast! Since I need to dye the nylon for an order! Also a great price!

It has been nicely taking the colors and is going to blend well with alpaca for sock yarn.

Drafts easily to desired thickness and takes acid dyes beautifully. I've dyed two braids so far with acid dyes and have been very pleased with the results.

Purchased this to use for plying with some reclaimed cashmere yarn for socks. The roving is dense but drafts easily and has a nice sheen. I'm experimenting with blending it with some wool and alpaca I have on hand.

I love the feel and the staple length. It will be blended with my fleece to spin into sock yarn for extra strength.

I spun it as a single ply in a 3-ply with carbonized bamboo and sw marino/tencel, sport weight. Don't try to break it with your hands - it hurts! I think the socks will last forever.

It doesn't take-up reactive dye well (it's nylon afterall), but comes out in nice pastel colors.
