Marble CHUNKY Yarn by James C. Brett - Washable!

I love this yarn. It is soft and the color choises are good. I have made several mitered square afghans for my teen grandchildren from this yarn and they all love them. The kids range from a "pink crazy" 7 year old girl to a "nothing but jeans for me" 17 year old boy. The color blends seem to have been custom made for each one.

This yarn comes in beautiful, beautiful colors! I have received my orders for two different colorways and there are many more colors I want to use. The self-striping in scarves and other items is very nice. I am currently crocheting with this yarn and it is easy to work with as well as gorgeous. As an acrylic, the easy care is a huge plus in gift items.

I absolutely LOVE this yarn! It has the look of homespun without the time involved spinning the yarn! It is acrylic, so it's a bit lighter than wool, which is good for Texas weather. I do want to point out that because it is like homespun/handspun, the ply is "splitty"..in otherwords, it's easy to get caught in between the plies if you aren't paying attention. But this yarn is durable enough that my kids can't break it, so it gets 5 stars from me!

I purchased Marble Chunky color 27 and was very pleased with the rich, beautiful colors of this gorgeous yarn. It has a soft and lovely texture and it's a joy to use. Definitely recommend it and will be back to experiement with a new color for my next project.

Made a sweater and the subtle color changes are lovely. However, it's acrylic and doesn't breath at all.

It is a good choice if natural fibers are not a good choice. But, I find it a bit spendy for acrylic and anymore would rather spend the money on natural fibers.

I needed an additional ball of Jeremy Brett's Chunky Jeweltone yarn to complete a project using yarn in my stash. I ordered two to make sure. I had already wound my older yarn on a ball winder and they were completely knot free. Not so with the yarn from Paradise. Both had several knots where the yarns was spliced. One ball had 6 splices. Now I'm not sure if the yarn pattern is the same because of the splicing and I don't know if my project will come out as expected.

If you find more than a few knots in any of the yarn we sell please let us know so we can alert the manufacturer and also make arrangements to swap out the offending ball of yarn. I make a lot of baby cocoons for customers. This yarn is the perfect yarn because it is acrylic yet very soft and comes in a great variety of color choices.

The fact that the price is at least $5 less than anywhere else I've found it is also a huge plus!

I rarely use acrylic yarn but i truly enjoy knitting Marble Chunky. I use it for prayer shawls, beautiful baby blankets, and easy-care blankets for college students. The color variations provide interest even with a simple pattern.

The colors of this yarn are lovely, variegated. The yarn is very soft. To make a prayer shawl takes about 1 1/2 skeins.

I'd promised to knit a scarf for my style-conscious, wool-allergic, and very tall nephew, and was delighted to find this yarn. Each of the two plies has long, subtle color changes, making even neutral shades interesting to work with. (My nephew chose 09, Sand Dune, a mix of cream, camel, brown, and silver gray.) The yardage is also a plus. The yarn feels good in the hand,plays well with needles, and is soft when worked up, with a tweedy, marled look. I would definitely buy this yarn again!

The nicest yarn to work with. We use it for prayer shawls. The colors are lovely, too. Hard to choose between the many options.

The yarn is always wonderful when I've bought it in

This yarn is so soft and easy to use I have made a few afghans with it and gave them as gifts and the people i gave them to just loved them.

Love this yarn! So hard to find a pattern/bulky yarn that is not hand wash. Crocheted a round afghan pattern useing this yarn- now I want to make one in every color. The yarn is also very easy to work with. All in all-would recommend giving a try.

Beautiful colors

this is a wonderful yarn. Acrylic does not usually take color so well, but the Wild Field is just beautiful. The color changes are very nicely done and the quality of the yarn is great. Very nice to knit with, just a little bit splitty. And the biggest ball i have ever seen!!

I love this yarn, it works up beautiful and quick for most projects. I'm about to purchase more colors.

I have used this yarn for several blankets - always crocheted them, not knitted. I like this yarn for it's texture, it's thickness, and easy of use. The blanket ends up to be warm and colorful because of the verigated colors. I would recommend it for it's ease of use and nice finished look.

It is going to be just perfect for my next prayer shawl!

Love using Marble Chunky yarn so much, that I purchased seven balls. It is a pleasure to work with that I can't wait to use all the colors I received. Hopefully this line is kept in stock because it is a keeper.

I find this yarn much easier to work with than a similar yarn from another company. I does not ravel,is smoothly twisted and glides through my hook. The colors are saturated and beautiful. It also is wash and dry, perfect for an afghan. I bought it to make one afghan.....think I will be making two more.

I dislike the acrylic shine, but the acrylic IS was makes it so affordable. And it's rare to find sophisticated colorways in a less expensive yarn.

This chunky acrylic is ideal for prayer shawls because it knits up quickly, yet the resulting soft attractive product is machine wash/dry. The yarn does not fray when cut into fringe - this is a significant improvement over other chunky acrylics on the market.

I pinned it out, laid wet towels over it, next day took towels off and steamed the piece with steam iron, never touching the yarn itself. Worked great. I am amazed and have been knitting for decades. Love the colors also.

I made a scarf with this for a friend, and immediately had people seeking me out asking for the pattern, where I bought the yarn, or how much I'd charge to make them one. It knits fast, one ball is enough to make two substantial scarves, or one longer scarf and one hat, or three hats. It's soft and lovely.

I bought this yarn for a beginner knitting class and love working with it; like the way the variegated yarn changes color, creating stripes along the length of the scarf.

I saw a scarf that one of my sisters knit with this yarn, and I loved it. Will knit exactly the same thing for my son.

Yarn made up easily and I used it to crochet a darling snuggly cocoon for my first great-grandchild.

So far, I've made three shawls with this, and each came out with it's own personality, because of the colors, and each was beautiful and looked professional. The color lichen was elegant and sand dune reminded me of the shades in a deer. The color charcoal had a little more shade definition, whereas the other two colors had subtle changes. Very easy to work with and nice and soft finish.

Have made a shawl and a scarf for a charity closet. This is warm without being so terribly heavy as some yarns are. The color changes are subtle so they blend into one another beautifully. Plan on many more projects suited to this yarn in different colorways.

I love this yarn for most any project, but especially nice for neckwarmer cowls! The repeat on the colors works out to give the look that one used many colors of yarn without changing yarns!

The gift prayer shawl I made turned out so well, I decided to make another. The colors are pretty, perfect for Florida and it's not too heavy although the yarn is chunky.

My little Ava will love this sweater. She is very particular at almost 3 yrs old and likes the sweaters soft and not "scratchie". I made her big brother one too out of the landscape marble. Both Christmas gifts were done with time to spare!

I love this Marble Chunky yarn. It knits up so fast and the colors are beautiful. It is chunky without the excessive weight. Hope Uncle Dana likes the sweater I knitted for him. I am doing one for each of the kids too since it knits up so fast I can get both of them done before the holidays.

I'm a crocheter and this yarn is beautiful to look at and excellent to work with. I was able to make a full size afghan for someone in the hospital in under two weeks because this yarn just floated off my hook.

The Marble Chunky if perfect for knitting prayer shawls for my church ministry. The color blends are wonderful and really show off in the shawl. It is easy to knit with and the soft texture is very pleasing to the touch. Two balls of yarn and #15 circular needles make a beautiful shawl.

I have used this yarn many times for baby items such as snugglies and baby afghans. The colors are delightful and crochet into delightful color patterns. It is wonderful to work with.

the colors do not repeat in the marble chucky. I made a leg warmer for my granddaughter and when I started the 2nd one, I could not match the colors. I had to cut and tie on 8 times. I made these to match a poncho made of this yarn

I was desparately trying to find this yarn and none of the shops within 50 miles seemed to know what I wanted. (I origianally puchased in Florida). When I was directed to your web site by a church member I found exactly what I wanted, could order the quantity I required and IT COST LESS THAN WHAT I PAID IN FLORIDA. A win, win situation.

I knitted two afghans this summer-one for my daughter-in-law and one for myself. They were very quick knit, yummy soft and warm. However, I lost mine when my 7 year old granddaughter visited and asked if I could make one for her! Goodbye afghan. (I'll start on mine in the fall).

I made 2 Afghans, they are light weight but warm.
I used a basket weave pattern, which everyone loves. I plan to use this yarn for hats, scarves, and another Afghan. I went to a lot of yarn shops before I found a yarn that you can throw in the washing machine and it still looks beautiful.

I made my first full size afghan (my first project, just for myself). I saw this yarn at a local store and just had to have it. I ran out and ordered from Paradise. It matched perfectly and I received it in only a week time. My girls (agee 16 and 11) love it so much, they each have picked out patterns and different colors in this product for me to start their afghans too. I am using this yarn to make a wrap. I don't usually use acrylic yarns, but these colors are so vibrant and the yarn is so soft, I couldn't resist. I still have a few rows left on my wrap, but I have already purchased more to make a wrap for my daughter-in-law and a poncho for my granddaughter. Very soft and easy to knit. I highly recommend it.
