Kollage Square Circular SOFT CABLE Knitting Needles 40in

As advertised these needles are great. My arithritic hand is no longer as stiff in the morning after knitting the nite before. Haven't finished by sweater yet but definitely will be ordering more to do my sock knitting. I have another brand of circulars with a very flexible cable but these are more comfortable to work with.

I really love these needles. I found them so easy to use. I noticed that I don't hold them as tight as I would regular needles. The cord is nice and long for magic loop. The cord also has a nice connection to the needle and a really good flex to them. I can't say enough good things about these needles. I just wish they were easy to get ahold of.

I love the cables on them. Perfect for magic loop. I would recommend buying a size larger. I made two pairs of socks, one on the kollage needles and one on my XXXXXX needles and the Kollage socks gauge was noticeably a smaller gauge.

These were a real treat! I thought the square needles would be the best feature, and while that was impressive, the cable on these needles are the best I have ever knitted with. They are flexible and pliable- no need to steam these EVER. The square needle ends are comfortable and keep my knitting smooth and consistent also. I love these needles!

I love the Kollage square needles as they do exactly what they advertise which is making knitting easier for me with my arthritic hands and maintaining consistency with stitch size.

The soft cable is truly soft and been great for the magic loop technique, but I've got one where it's already splitting away from the needle. I haven't even finished one sock with it yet so it's still very new and I've been very careful with them at the join from the get go. I'd inquired about the circ needles at three different LYS shops and all three said the dpn's were great but they wouldn't care the circs as they got too many returns. Once I saw Kollage offering both firm and soft cable, I figured that meant they'd solved the issue. I don't know if my set is a dud and normally they're fine now or not.

I do know I'll happily buy more Kollage DPN's but right now I'm not too sure about the circs. I ordered three pair total, so I'll see how the other two hold up and decide then if I like their circs.

I wonder why we have had to wait for such wonders as soft cables and squared shape. They speed up my knitting and make it so much easier to handle. I have a large needle supply but these are tops.

I first bought these needles in a shop in Galtinburg, TN. Since then I have been adding more & More of them. I am a sock knitter and always have at least four pair in the works. I really like the soft cables, they don't get in my way like the hard cables do.

One needle has something wrong where the needle joins the cable and the yarn always snags on it. There's also a nick in the cable close to where it joins the needle. The other needle has a definite scratch or groove in the tip and it always scrapes against the other needle when knitting. A definite thumbs down from me on these needles.

I love Kollage circs with the original very soft, super flexible cable. I knit a wee bit loosely so the gauge I get with them is usually spot on. When I knit socks for my grands, I like to knit both at once on a long circ to make sure they are exactly the same size & that is so much more doable with the soft cables. My only complaint would be that I had on tip just fall off the cable & disappear into the innards of my daughter's car (one of the needles I bought is to replace that).

I purchased 4 sizes of the Kollage needles with the soft cord and love them. No kinking up when I use Magic Loop for mitts and socks. A real winner. The joins are a bit rough, but nothing that I can't deal with compared to the benefit of that wonderful cord.

I love the Kollage Square knitting needles, so I was looking forward to trying the circular needles. They're wonderful to knit with, smooth joins and the cable doesnt kink up. I like the way these needles feel in my hands.

This is the limpest circluar cable I have ever seen. Magic looping is a dream. 2 socks at the same time is the only way to go.

I love Kollage knitting needles! I love their flexible cables - They have absolutely no memory, so when you take them out of the package to use them - they aren't all curled up. I also like the square shape. I normally have to go down two needle sizes to obtain gauge, but with Kollage - I can get correct gauge using the suggested needle size from the patterns.

Wanted this product for a long time.

I really liked the flexible cable and didn't have any trouble sliding the work back onto the needle. I bought the 00 as my knitting is fairly loose, and the pattern called for a 1. I also thought they were easier to hold. I have a little trouble with tennis elbow if I knit too much and it didn't seem to bother me as much with these needles. I too am anxious to try other sizes.

I use this for making 2 magic loop socks at a time. I love the flexibility of the cables, the stitches are extremely even, the needles feel great in my hands! Only con is on this size needle (1) the cable is a bit too thin for my taste, it seems a little fragile, but so far no problems with it.

Love the Kollage Square Circular needles. I can knit longer, with more control and better results than with any other needle I've used. Love the limp cable, too, as I don't feel like I'm fighting with it as I knit. Also, very nice taper on the points.

I love these needles. They are smooth & fast to use & feel warmer than most metal needles for some reason. They are also very light weight & the cords are super flexible which makes them great for Magic Loop. I haven't had any problems with sliding stitches from the cable back to the tips as others have reported. Perhaps they knit a bit more tightly than I do? I think these might be great for knitters who knit a bit loosely. The gauge you get will generally be about the same as you'd get with a needle one size smaller. They just about tie with the Addi Lace needles as my faves now & that is saying a lot!

Kollage Needles, in sizes 0 and 1 have cords that are like string. It's impossible to get the stitches from the cord back onto the needle. Awful. I contacted Kollage and they said they are working on it but that some people love it. Hmmm. I would not buy these needles again.

Kollage needles are great. I use them more than any other needle and I always use the circular needles. I love the flexability of the cable, but it also causes the yarn not to move smoothly on to the needle. I also wear the paint on the tip off.

I am learning to make 2 socks at a time and with these wonderful cable needles it is a breeze. It is so nice to have the cable cooperate and not twist or knot that makes doing 2 socks at once very simple. I will be ordering the other sizes very shortly.

I ordered US size 1 for my socks and glove projects. While I like the feel of the actual needle, the cable is very awkward to deal with, and slowed my knitting down to the point that I changed back to my Addis. The cable is so fine that it does not slide easily back toward the tip of the needle portion easily, and the cable doubles back on itself in the knitting. Perhaps the extreme flexibility of the cable wouldn't be such a problem in a larger size, say a US 5 or so.
